It´s Canada Day Today and I´m feeling mighty patriotic...Maybe its the fact that I´m away from Canada this Canada Day because I usually don´t feel like this when I´m in Toronto.
Anyways... I just wanted to give a quick shoutout to all my fellow interns and I´m hoping everyone remebers to keep in the Canadian Spirit today and enjoy their CANADA DAY from wherever in the World they may be!! EH?!!!
hmmmmm now where can i find a labatt blue beer here in sayula mexico????

The celebration was really huge here. I think people are truly proud to be Canadians. And the day ended with wonderful 15 minute fireworks! Hope you are having a great summer too!

ReplyDeleteOver here in Mexico everyone was surprised to find out it was Canada Day yesterday...I got my co-workers in the holiday spirit and we went out for a few beers...although we didnt find labbat blue we cheered with the traditional Mexican SOL beer...lol and i had them saying ´happy Canada Day´all day long. It was good times!
Hey Naty! I feel the exact same way - for some reason, I felt like I missed Canada Day more now that I'm in Mexico, whereas normally it would pretty much be like any other day for me (except for the fireworks). We sort of celebrated Canada Day in my class though, which was cool =D
ReplyDeleteHappy Belated Canada day!!! I'm sure you heard we're in the mist of a 13 day city worker strike, which includes all garbage collectors, and has left the city in a stinky mess. Because of the strike, the garbage and the 'economy' many of the firework events didn;t happen this year. The big ones were still on like Ontario Place etc..but nothing organized by the city. Point being you didnt miss much lol
